You can latch on to any of these and contribute sound, helpful and maybe funny input. It shows your brand cares about what tweeps care about. Don’t stop there; monitor your competition as well. This is what the European soccer football brands do better than other users. They monitor each other closely and even engage each other in such a way as to generate some energy amongst their respective fans and followers. This way, they are contributing to sales of club merchandise, in the grand scheme of things. If someone expresses issues with a competitor or drops a general question about your competitor, that’s your opportunity to learn what to do better in your own business. There would be nothing wrong if you seize the moment

10 DOs and Don'ts for Brands on Twitter

Brands on Twitter must know that this one is a village and everyone seems to know everyone. That is the most unforgiving place for your partners or buyers to complain of you. Nowadays, the need to satisfy your customers gets emphasized even more thanks to the power that Twitter gives to users’ voices. source: Logodix    I took a little time to go through piles of requests and complaints by Twitter users concerning brands they have dealt with; as many as I could. Here are 10 Dos and Don’ts I learned from this: 1. Poor Grammar, Poor Spelling will sink you There are lots of grammarians on social media and Twitter has them many. It’s an open world out there with supporters, hostiles, prejudiced, sympathizers, the indifferent, the disillusioned and all manner strolling through. 12 Nigerian Social Media Influencers Taking PR Jobs - How We Evolved

As a PR agency in Nigeria, as elsewhere on earth, you cannot remain in business sticking to the traditional practice, which, by the way, is almost forgotten. The Media has been relocating to New Media, Marketing is taking over from journalism.  And this 'New Media' comes with many elements you need to study. Members of the older generation who have refused to adjust are being retired before they realize it. We can mention names of some of these consultants in Lagos.  My focus is however not to sing to the choir here, but to drop a hint as to how we have moved Jabborro PR into the flow and continued bringing in the jobs.  At a time when PR agencies are earning less and getting threatened with folding up, we are getting set to open an official Lagos office stepping up from the Uyo base from upcountry. Is it because we are led by youth? Maybe. But I'll say it's because we're hungry and restless - will strive to stay this way.  Welcome to Influence

Among the new actions that will get an account banned are: Any account that uses stock or stolen avatar photos, stolen or copied profile bios, misleading profile information, and misleading profile location. Twitter now considers these accounts as fake accounts. As professional PR experts, these among other things are involved in our daily tasks. Instead of waiting for the media to write their story, as organizations media eyes and mouth piece, share those stories via social media platforms. More especially, those platforms activities are coordinated by you. Try these few thought of mine: ctsy: dorisgross 1.
